| Using a laser called the DIAGNOdent, cavities can be detected by Dr. Kapur and his team of dentists. The HealOzone tool then uses ozone to kill the bacteria that cause cavities. Using ozone (an odourless colourless tasteless gas) to heal, allows the tooth to heal stronger and more resistant to cavities reducing the risk of future problems.To further stimulate healing a mineral solution is applied to the tooth. HealOzone recommends that patients use their follow up; at home treatments and proper diet to continue ensure the best results. Dr. Kapur can evaluate the success of the treatment on future visits. |
